About Us

Dr. Curdicia Gilbert, AuD., owner of Hear Care of New England,  graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Saint John's University in 2010. She continued at the University and received her Doctorate of Audiology in 2014.

 Dr. Gilbert completed her clinical residency year at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children's Hospital, where she gained proficiency in fitting of hearing aids and follow up care across the lifespan in addition to central auditory processing and vestibular testing. Over the years, Dr. Gilbert has worked in large teaching hospitals and private practices throughout the northeast. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is licensed in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.  

Dr. Gilbert believes providing patient centered care is essentially in achieving best outcome regarding hearing aid fitting.
